A dear friend of mine, for reasons undisclosed, decided to put Chat GPT’s capabilities to a test, using yours truly. Here’s what he typed in, followed by the answer:
Who is Vicente Ulive-Schnell?
Vicente Ulive-Schnell is a writer, filmmaker, and media executive. He is the co-founder and CEO of Ultraviolet, a media company that produces and distributes content in both English and Spanish, with a focus on Latinx culture and identity.
Ulive-Schnell was born in Mexico and raised in the United States. He has written and directed several films, including "The Kiss," "The Sound of Silence," and "Taco Chick & Salsa Girl." In addition to his work in film and media, he is also an advocate for diversity and representation in the entertainment industry.
Ulive-Schnell's work has been recognized with several awards, including the Imagen Award and the National Association of Latino Independent Producers Award.
Now, apart from the fact that I’m not an advocate for anything, anywhere, I must say I’m honored that Chat GPT thinks I’m the author of the masterpiece, “Taco Chick & Salsa Girl”.
The movie trailer is available on Youtube. Watching it, I realized John Waters is a genius, since it’s very difficult to shoot something in queer-trash style without ending up with something like Taco Chick and Salsa Girl. “Join Taco Chick and Salsa Girl as they battle Neato Nazi Barbie!”, says the tagline.
My friend, a tireless truth warrior, had another go:
Who is Vicente Ulive-Schnell?
Vicente Ulive-Schnell is an entrepreneur, investor, and founder of the digital marketing company, Falcontail. He was born in Venezuela and grew up in the United States. He has a background in finance and business and has worked for several top financial institutions before starting his own company.
Ulive-Schnell is known for his expertise in online marketing, particularly in the areas of search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), and social media marketing. His company, Falcontail, provides digital marketing services to businesses of all sizes, helping them to increase their online visibility and reach more customers.
In addition to his work with Falcontail, Ulive-Schnell is also involved in various philanthropic initiatives. He has supported several non-profit organizations focused on education, entrepreneurship, and technology, including the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT).
The only thing true in this inane drivel is that I was born in Venezuela, to be honest. Even worse, when pressed about where on earth the A.I. got the information, this is what it answered:
I gathered this information from various online sources, including news articles, interviews, and Vicente Ulive-Schnell's professional profiles on LinkedIn and his company's website. Some of the sources I used include:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/vicenteulive/
https://falcontail.com/

It's important to note that the accuracy of this information may vary depending on the source and the date it was published.
Which is even creepier, since ALL those links, except for the “falcontail” one, are MADE UP. That’s not even my Linkedin Account!
What is going on here? I understand these new artificial intelligence systems need some time to get better, but are they really going to make up whatever facts in the meantime?
Should we be scared?
